Automated process
The ACTE heat exchanger are manufactured in a continuous automated process starting from the uncoiling of two coils of metal and ending with the welding of the heat exchanger core. The process involves the continuous forming of the heat exchanger surfaces, laser welding operations and on line quality controls. No brazing is required. Both annular shaped and box shaped cores can be manufactured thanks to the symmetrical geometry of the sheets, even if today, only the annular (or spiral) cores production is automated.
