Annular shape heat exchanger

The annular shape of our spiral heat exchangers, is characterised by 3 main geometrical parameters, i.e.:

• the inner diameter, from 300 mm up to more than 1 meter,
• the outer diameter, from 400 mm up to 2,4 meters,
• the fixed length, about 300 mm.

Any size of heat exchangers in this range can be produced automatically with the ACTE production line. The heat power which is covered with these dimensions ranges from a few kW to 30 MW.

The annular shape also allows smart integration of the heat exchanger in axisymetric installation. For instance, when used as a heat recuperator in gas turbine applications, the annular shape of the core allows a very compact installation around the exhaust diffuser.
